The principle of induction heating
Induction cooker works on the principle of electromagnetic induction.
The voltage converter in the electric circuit of the inverter changes the AC 50
Hz current to a DC 20 to 40 kHz DC voltage.
The directed electric current passes through the induction coil. When placing
a metal dish on a ceramic plate below which an induction coil is located, a
strong magnetic field is created. Magnetic field currents pass through the
bottom of the metal container - so numerous swirling magnetic fluxes are
created inside the bottom of the pot. These vortex streams the bottom of the
pot heat very quickly.
