Preparation and operation

Unpack the device, check it for damage, and remove all packing

material.

Electrical connection requirements

•  Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure that the

mains voltage corresponds to the information on the rating plate

located on the mains base and the base of the kettle.

•   The device may only be connected to a 230 V ~, 50 Hz electrical

socket.

Before using boiled water from the kettle for the first time, boil

the water at least for  3 times in a kettle filled with water to the

maximum level mark, pour it out and rinse the kettle thoroughly.

1  Unwind the power cord from the base. Place the device on a level

and stable surface.

2  Fill it  full with the water. Please observe the MAX water indicators

(the MAX mark is on the end of the steam pipe inside the

channel). Close the lid, otherwise the kettle will not switch off

automatically when the water closes and the water may boil out of

the kettle.

Warning! The water level must be at the maximum of the MAX.

indicator (1.5 l), minimum 0.5 l. Too little water can damage

the heater and too much water can cause water to leak during

boiling.

3  Use the base for the mains. Place the kettle on the base with the

power supply. Place the kettle with the output for water facing

away from you.

After placing the kettle on the base, the kettle is ready for

operation.

To operate the kettle, set switch 5 0/I to position I (on).

WARNING!

Never fill the kettle when it is placed on the base. If the kettle is

overfilled, boiling water may splash out.

Do not run the kettle abruptly. Improper use of the kettle may

adversely affect its service life.

If you accidentally switch on the kettle without water, the thermostat

will automatically switch off the kettle when a certain temperature

is reached. Switch 5 switche to position 0 (off) and the light goes

out. The kettle can be restarted after a few minutes as soon as the

stainless steel bottom cools down.

The body of the kettle with spout and cover is made of fragile

material therefore, it requires very careful handling. It can be

severely damaged in the event of an impact – the kettle can be

broke.
