Install a Power Supply

Install a Power Supply

The power supply is a hot-service component that can be replaced by a customer.

Caution -

This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic

discharge. This discharge can cause failure of server components.

Open the latch on the replacement power supply, and align the power supply

with the empty bay.

Verify that the power supply is oriented as shown in the following figure.

Slide the power supply into the chassis.
