Using Card Lock to Hold the PCI Card
10. Slide the remaining card locks to the edges of the PCI card and tighten the
screws.
The shape of a PCI card might prevent the use of some card locks. The minimum
requirement is one card lock on the side of the PCI card and one card lock on the
top.
Note –
If the card lock screws are loose, the card locks will slip and the PCI card will
not seat properly.
Caution –
If the bottom card lock (type C) is not used, leave it at the far right side of
the slot (
). The PCI card will not seat properly if the bottom of the card
lock touches the card socket.
