Disconnect Grounding Straps

For each rack panel and door, two grounding straps (upper and lower) connect the panel or door

to the rack frame. Before removing a door or a cabinet panel, disconnect the two grounding

straps.

Separate the banana jack located in the center of the grounding strap.

One half remains on the panel or door, and the other half remains on the rack frame.
