If it is necessary to remove a reader that has been installed, it will be necessary to install a Reader Blank-out
Plate.
WARNING:
To prevent an electrical shock hazard, de-energize the Terminal
before you do this procedure! Push the Terminal rocker switch on the Power
Supply to the
O
(Off) position.
NOTICE:
Do not let the pocket slot stay open. Weather (rain, snow,cold etc.) can have an
unwanted affect on the operation of the unit's components. Install a Blank-out Plate as a
cover for the open pocket slot.
Remove the Reader
Before you install the Blank-out Plate you must remove the reader from the pocket slot. See the instructions
for the applicable reader to be removed. Do the instructions in the opposite order to remove the reader.
Install the Blank-out Plate
