Malfunction

Cause

Remedy

Equipment will not turn 
on.

Plug is not plugged in.
Power switch is in the off 
position.
Main power fuseblown.

Plug the Power cord into 
appropriate socket.
Switch the power on
Replace the fuse.

There is Power but the 
rollers are not running 
after the hot button is 

pressed.

Emergency switch is engaged.
Safety cover is not closed. Guide 
table is not installed correctly.

Blown motor fuse.

Disengage the mergency 
switch.
Close the safety cover to 

active the safety switch.
Property installs the paper 
guide so that the safety switch 
is activated.
Replace the motor fuse.

The unit is not 
heating up.

The equipment is on the COLD 
mode.
Set temperature is lower than the 
room temperature.

Switch to HOT mode.
Raise the temperature 
according to the recommended 
film temperature.

The laminated 

document is rippled.

Top foil is rippled.

Bottom foil is rippled.

Loosen the top roll foil 

tension.
Loosen the bottom roll foil 
ntension.

Bad lamination quality.

The main roller temperatures are 
too high or too high speed .

Raise the roller temperatures 
and lower the lamination 
speed.

If you do not clean the rollers regularly the laminating foil can stick and damage the 
rollers and cause unsatisfactory lamination and damage the equipment. You should 
clean the rollers after and before starting a new project.

Note! Before clearing turn off the laminator and unplug it from the socket.

 

 Clean the rollers every time after use.

 

 Do not try to clean the rollers during operation.

 

 Use only the recommended materials, others can damage the rollers.

After finished work reduce the tension on the foil with tension handle. If the tension 
is too tight, the foil can be stretched and damage the new project.
