Ensure the leaver is pushed to the back before putting the plastic comb on.
Put the plastic comb on to the comb expander mechanism on the top of the equipment
with the comb opening upwards.
Pull the lever (7) backwards gently to open the comb to the size required with the teeth
pointing up.
Insert the punched documents and covers on to the opened comb, front cover upwards.
Push the handle to the back slowly until it stops to close the plastic comb.
Remove bound and ready documents from the comb plate.
BINDING WITH WIRE COMBS:
Install plastic back support (4) to the back of equipment.
Choose correct comb size using chart below showing comb and sheets. SEE construction
diagram.

Hang the wire comb on the hooks on the fount.
Insert the punched sheets of paper and covers on to the open comb. Lift the wire comb
with the documents and covers of the hooks carefully, places them in the wire binding
slot. The equipment has magnet to hold the wire comb into the compressing closing slot.
Push down the appropriate binding key for the wire comb being used (6). Back row of for
2:1 wire and front row for 3:1 wire.
Pull down the handle (5) to close the wire comb on the documents precisely, then release
the handle.
Take the finished bound documents out of the closing slot ready to use!
