Create Type Screen (cont.)
Unlike the Test screen, the lines on this screen will always be straight up and down,
and the top row of numbers will indicate the connection to the source in the bottom
row . A
0
in the top row indicates there is no connection.
Note:
The top row of numbers will change when you change the destination.

Although a scan is the easiest way to create a new type, it is possible to manually create
a type by using the edit functions on this screen. You should select a type from the folder
icon which is closest to the type you are going to edit.
Note:
If edits are done instead of a Scan, the power reference values for this type
cable are not valid. You must use the reference screen found in page 2 of the settings
(see page 17) to update the references.
