2. Use a pointed object (such as a
straightened paper clip) to set the
switch inside the compartment to
10K
or
9K
(for the AM step rate).
3. Replace the batteries and the com-
partment’s cover.
Note: When you switch the step rate
to 9 KHz, the clock changes from a
12-hour to a 24-hour format.
