IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
1. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user mainte-
nance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Keep the appliance and its cord aut of reach of children less then 8
years.
3. From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the
appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. Should
the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified
electrician (*). All repairs should be made by a competent qualified
electrician (*).
4. Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indi-
cated in these instructions.
5. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any
reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
6. Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
7.
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power
supply.
8. Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry
environment.
9. To ensure a major security, it is recommended to set up a current
flight jump 30 mA in the electric circuit that supplies the bathroom.
Ask your electrician for advice.
10. Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer.
They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the
appliance.
11. Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord
cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the
appliance and do not bend it.
12. Never use the appliance in bath, shower or above a sink filled with
water! However, should the appliance happen to fall into the water:
- immediately unplug it
- do not put your hands into the water
- make sure your appliance is verified by a competent qualified elec-
trician (*) before using it again.
13. When using the hairdryer in the bathroom, always unplug it when
not in use as the proximity of water could constitute a danger even
when the hairdryer is switched off.
14. Always make sure your appliance is not wet (water splashes, …) and
never handle it with wet hands.
15. Unplug the appliance when not in use or even if you put it down only
for a moment.
