INSTRUCTION MANUAL
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL HAND BLENDER RK-1240
1 Important
Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance
and save it for future reference.
1.1 Danger
Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, nor
rinse it under the tap.
1.2 Warning
• Avoid touching the blades, especially when the blender bar
is attached to the motor unit. The blades are very sharp.
• If the blade get stuck, remove the blender bar from the motor
unit before you remove the ingredients that block the blade.
• Keep fingers, hair, clothing, and utensils away from the
moving parts.
• Do not switch on the appliance when you attach or detach
accessories.
• Never use a damaged hand blender. Get it checked or
repaired in your local place.
• Never use an unauthorized attachment. If you use such
accessories or parts, your guarantee becomes invalid.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervised or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with this appliance.
• Never let the cord to touch hot surfaces or hang down where
a child could grab it.
• Never blend hot oil or fat.
• Switch I for light load (Whisk accessories); switch II for
heave load (hand-held blender, chopper accessories, also can
be used with whisk accessories).
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Care is needed when handling cutting blades, especially
when removing the blade from the bowl, emptying the bowl
and during cleaning.
• Switch off the appliance before changing accessories or
approaching parts, which move in use.

Caution:
Ensure that the blender is switched off before
removing it from the stand.
• Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is
left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning;
• Do not allow children to use the blender without
supervision.
• Don’t immerse motor part.

1.3 Caution
• Do not use your hand blender with heavy mixtures for longer
than 30 seconds in any 3 minutes period, it will overheat.
• This appliance is intended for household use only.

3 Using your food processor
Caution
• Must let hot ingredients cool down before you chop them or
pour them into the beaker (max. temperature 30
0
C)
• Cut large ingredients into pieces of 2cm before you process
them.
3.1 Blending
Thoroughly clean the parts that come into contact with food
before you use the appliance for the first time (see chapter
‘Cleaning’)
The hand blender is intended for:
• Blending fluids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices,
soups, mixed drinks and shakes.
• Mixing soft ingredients, e.g. pancake batter or mayonnaise.
• Pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making baby food.
Important
• Take the saucepan off the heat and let it cool slightly.
Otherwise, your hand blender could overheat.
• Fit the motor unit (B) inside the blender bar(C). (‘click’)
• Plug in the power cable. To avoid splashing, place the blade
in the food before switching on.
• Do not let liquid get above the join between the motor unit
and blender bar.
• Move the blade through the food and use a stabbing action.
• If your hand blender gets blocked, unplug the power cable
before cleaning.
• After use, unplug the power cable and dismantle.
