Oil Heater OST-1611
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please carefully read the information provided below.
It contains important recommendations concerning operation,
maintenance and safe use of the device. Please keep this
manual for future use and please pass it on to the next owner.
General safety rules
1. Do not turn the device on if its housing shows clear signs
of damage (fractures, breakages, splinters), if the power
cord is damaged, or if there is a assumption of invisible
defect (e.g. if the device had fallen down).
2. The device can only be connected to the power mains
when the voltage given on the rating plate is the same as
mains voltage.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
4. The radiator is intended for home use only.
5. Use of accessories, which are not recommended or sold by
product’s distributor, may lead to damage of the device or
risk of life and health.
6. The power cord cannot be dragged through sharp edges; it
also cannot be allowed to jam.
7. The power cord cannot be laid on the radiator, when the
radiator is on.
8. Plug cannot be pulled out of socket by pulling the power
cord.
9. The power cord shall not be immersed in water or any
other liquid.
10. Before cleaning or performing other maintenance works,
always disconnect the device from the power source and
let it cool down.
11. The radiator needs to be placed in such location, so that
other flammable items did not catch fire. Apart from the
above, switches and all other control elements should be
located outsider the reach of persons having bath or taking
shower.
12. All repair works should be conducted by a qualified
service technician or an authorized service station.
13. The radiator cannot be covered with towels, curtains, etc.,
since it may cause it to overheat.
14. The device cannot be stored outdoors.
15. The device cannot be installed nor used inside vehicles.
16. This device is not intended to be used by small children or
disabled persons without supervision.
17. During operation parts of the radiator are hot. During
transport hold the radiator by special handles.
18. Do not place the power cord under carpets, covers, runners
or furniture. The cord shall be placed in such manner, so
there is no possibility of tripping.
19. Make sure that there is no other high-power-consuming
electrical device connected to the same electrical circuit,
since that could cause excessive load.
20. Avoid using any extension cords, since that cord may
overheat and cause the risk of fire.
21. Do not leave the radiator without supervision when it is
on.
22. Flammable materials, i.e. furniture, bedclothes, curtains
and other should be kept in the distance of at least 1 meter
from the radiator.
23. Do not use the device in the bathroom in the direct vicinity
of a bath tub, a shower or a swimming pool.
24. The radiator can be connected only to a socket with
protective contact.
25. Do not use the device for drying clothes.
26. When scrapping the device, take into account oil utilization
regulations.
27. The radiator is filled with precisely matched special
oil. Repairs requiring opening of oil contained may be
performer only by the manufacturer or a service technician,
who shall be contacted in case of any oil leak.
Warning:
* The radiator cannot be located directly under a wall plug-
in-socket.
* Do not use the radiator directly near the bath tub, a shower or
near the swimming pool.

BEFORE CONNECTING THE RADIATOR TO POWER
MAINS FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Carefully unpack the radiator. Remember about careful use/
utilization of the package. Check if the device or power cord
were not damaged during transport. Do not use the radiator
if it is damaged.
• When operating the radiator for the first time, turn it on for
the maximum power for at least 2 hours. During radiator’s
operation ventilate the room in order to eliminate the smell
emitted by the device.
• Noise accompanying the device during the first run is
a normal phenomenon.
