7.0 USING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Selecting the power supply
•
On the rear of the microscope you find a 3-positions switch to control the power supply of
the illuminator.
•
A full charge of the battery provides about
2 hours
of continuous use at maximum light
intensity, or about
3 hours
at medium intensity.
•
The typical lifetime of the internal battery pack is about
500 charge/discharge cycles.
Recharging the battery
•
In order to guarantee an optimum battery life and efficiency, always follow these steps to
recharge:

Connect the charger to 230V line voltage (WARNING: not compatible with 110Vac)

Check the settings for voltage and charging current:
Position I
: power supply from line voltage
Position 0
: illuminator OFF
Position II
: power supply from internal battery
Voltage:
8,4V
Current:
1000mA
