2.3.
Internal calibration method
The main sensing component of the DeltaSens interrogator is the high-precision spectrometer. Such
device is calibrated using a reference laser and its readings are compensated in the DeltaSens system
considering the unit temperature. Thanks to the high manufacturing standards and the inherent
properties of the DeltaSens sensing method, the spectrometer does not require to be calibrated,
granting high-performance and accuracy during the whole product lifetime.
