7. Operation ClearNote with the computer
keyboard
Starting the software
Start the ClearNote application by clicking either the ClearNote icon on
your computer’s desktop or via the Windows Start Menu.
You can close the ClearNote application as any other Windows program
using “Alt+F4” or by clicking the close (x) button in the upper corner of the
ClearNote window.
List of commands
For a description of the keyboard functions, please refer to the included
hotkey list.
Whilst operating ClearNote on your PC, the hotkey list can also be
displayed on the screen pressing “H”. To close this screen again, press
“Alt+F4”.

Setting the magnification
Pressing the “Arrow down” button will decrease the magnification.
Pressing the “Arrow up” button will increase the magnification.
Viewing modes
Pressing the “M” button on the keyboard will cycle you through 3 different
viewing modes: Full colour photo mode, high contrast positive and
negative reading modes.
Semi-colours
You may choose to display text using a range of high-contrast semi-colour
combinations. These can be activated by pressing “S”. With “Shift+S” you
can cycle through each of the 10 different foreground and background
colours. The colour combinations can be inverted by pressing “M”.
Resizing and moving the ClearNote window

The size of the ClearNote window can be adjusted using the mouse or
hotkeys. If you change the window size from full screen, you can move it
to each corner of the screen pressing the “W” successively.
Press “F” to maximize the ClearNote window to full screen or to restore it
down.
The size can be decreased and increased in small steps by pressing “Ctrl
+ one of the four arrow keys”.
