Contacts are shown disconnected from power.
The relay is energized on motion. Contact C - NO is then
closed. If the brightness drops below the programmed
threshold and motion is detected, the TTL output is swit-
ched to active (5 V).

Installation

All work (such as installation, electrical connection, startup,
operation, and maintenance) must only be performed by
sufficiently qualified tradesmen. The respectively applicable
local rules and regulations (e.g. national building codes,
electrical/VDE regulations, etc.) must be observed. Installers
and operating entities are required to sufficiently familiarize
themselves before startup. Read the product description
before operating the equipment. Verify that the product can
be used for the relevant application without restrictions. We
are not liable for printing errors and changes after printing.
Appropriate use implies compliance with operating and
installation instructions. We are not liable for losses due to
inappropriate use. Unauthorized or inappropriate manipulati-
ons or modifications of the device render the operating
permit, the product warranty and warranty claims null and
void.

Do not expose the sensor to direct sun irradiation or high
heat. Do not obstruct the detection zone with flowers,
furniture, or other objects.

1.  Cut a Ø 60 mm hole into the ceiling.
2.  Open front cover by loosening the cover screw.
3.  Now connect the cables and mount the detector to the

ceiling with screws and dowels.

4.  Verify that both rotating switches are set correctly. Finally,

position and secure the front cover with screws.

Function check

Set ON and OFF lag to 0. Turn on the power supply to the
detector. Wait 30 seconds to complete the warmup phase.
Enter the detection space and walk around at normal speed.
The red LED lights up as soon as the sensor detects motion;
the relay is energized. If the brightness drops below the
programmed threshold and motion is detected concurrently,
the TTL output is switched to 5 V. Appropriately adjust the
brightness threshold as required with the potentiometer (see
figure below).

Attention:

Note the arrow (notch) on the rotating switches
(SW) for the lag. *Default setting ON+OFF: SW = 0;
only adjust the lag when power has been
disconnected!!
