Description

For all PCB revisions (5R1-5R5), the SIM slot connects the digital and chassis ground planes,
removing isolation between the two. Under normal operating conditions, the function of the
motherboard should not be affected.

Customers who rely on chassis ground isolation are recommended to isolate the chassis
from earth ground externally.

Resolution

Steps to mitigate the issue will be taken in PCB B01-00005R6 by eliminating the short. The
changes are present in F01-x0005R6.
