4. For the lower (or only) battery module, remove the cable ejec-
tion on the upper side of the front cover only. The position of
the upper cable ejection is shown in Figure 7.
5. If you are installing more than one battery module, the respec-
tive upper and lower cable ejections must be removed for eve-
ry battery module. The respective position of the cable ejec-
tions are shown in Figure 7.
ATTENTION
A small spark can occur when the battery module is con-
nected to the UPS system. This is normal and does not pose
a hazard to people. Quickly and firmly insert the cable of the
battery module into the battery plug connection of the UPS
system.
6. Stick the cable of the battery module into the battery connec-
tion of the UPS system as shown in Figure 8. Up to four bat-
teries can be connected to the UPS system.
Models up to 1500VA: Release the plug connection for the
battery module at the UPS system and connect the plug con-
nection with the connection to the battery module. Press both
parts together firmly to ensure a good connection.
