Listening to FM/DAB radio
Tuning into FM radio station
∫ Tuning into stations automatically
1. Turn the INPUT control on the main unit to select “FM”
on the display.
2. Press the TUNING MODE button so that the “AUTO”
indicator on the display lights.

buttons to start automatic
tuning.

Searching automatically stops when a station is
found. When tuned into a radio station, the
“ 1 TUNED 2 ” indicator on the display lights. When
tuned into an FM radio station, the “FM STEREO”
indicator lights.
When the reception of FM broadcasts is poor: If the
radio wave reception is weak or there is excess noise in
your location, refer to “Tuning into stations manually” on
the next section to change the reception setting to
monaural. This can minimise the noise and audio
interruptions.
∫ Tuning into stations manually
If you tune into an FM radio station manually, it will be
received in monaural sound.
1. Turn the INPUT control on the main unit to select “FM”
on the display.
2. Press the TUNING MODE button so that the “AUTO”
indicator on the display goes off.

buttons to select the desired
radio station.

The frequency changes by 1 step each time you
press the button. The frequency changes
continuously if the button is held down and stops
when the button is released.

Tuning into stations by frequency
It allows you to directly enter the frequency of the radio
station you want to listen to.
1. Press the TUNER button of the remote control
repeatedly to select “FM” on the display.
2. Press D.TUN button.
3. Using the number buttons, enter the frequency of the
radio station within 8 seconds.

To enter 87.50 (FM), for example, press [8], [7], [5],
[0]. If the entered number is incorrect, press the
D.TUN button again and re-enter the number.
