Removing the Speaker Grilles

You can use the speakers either with or without their

grilles, which can be removed as follows.

Using the Supplied Cork Spacers

Make sure to use the supplied cork spacers for stable

bases and better-quality sound. The cork spacers also

protect the bottom of the speaker from migrations of a

plasticizer.

Attach the cork spacers to the four corners of the

bottom of the speaker.

Using the Supplied Spike

The speaker can be placed with upward angle by using

the supplied spikes.

1.  Attach a nylon washer, spike nut, and spike in that

order into the screw holes (two) on the bottom of

the speaker.

2.  Adjust the height of the spikes to the same level

and make them stable.

3.  Tighten the spike nuts firmly.

We recommend the use of supplied spike tray. Refer

to “Placement” for details.

Note

Please note that moving the speaker with the spikes

attached can damage the flooring. Make sure not to get

injured with a tip of the spike when you attach it.
