Getting Started

Before first use

•  Unpack the appliance but keep all packaging materials until you have

made sure your new equipment is undamaged and in good working
order. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young
children, so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach.

•  Unwind the cord to its full length and inspect it for damage. Do not use

the appliance if the appliance or its cord have been damaged or are not
working properly. In case of damage, contact our after sales support line
for advice on examination, repair or return of the damaged product.

•  Read this manual to familiarise yourself with all the parts and operating

principles of the equipment. Pay particular attention to the safety
instructions on the previous pages.

•  Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage

and before all other connections have been made.

•  Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several

centimetres around the unit for ventilation.

Connections

•

Connect the power cord to a properly earthed AC outlet.

•  Move the function switch. The backlight on the LC display should light up,

indicating the power supply is working properly.

•  Your Turntable with Cassette deck deck is now ready for use.
•  To connect headphones to this equipment, use a connecting cable with a

3.5mm headphone jack and plug it into the earphone socket at the front of
the equipment.

•  To connect an external sound source such as an MP3 or CD player, use the

AUX IN socket at the front of the equipment.

•  To connect an external device (e.g. amplifier or speaker), use the earphone

socket at the front of the equipment.
