After inserting the batteries into the weather station, all LCD segments are
switched on for a few seconds, all possible display segments are switched on
for checking.
The weather station then takes an initial measurement and starts to register
the station (the radio reception symbol is switched on). Do not press any
button before the outdoor sensor data has been received, otherwise
the outdoor sensor learning mode will be terminated. When an outdoor
transmitter has been registered, the base station automatically switches to
normal display mode from which all further settings can be made by the user.
If no RCC signal is detected during initial configuration, the transmitter will
attempt to receive an RCC signal every 6 hours until a signal is received. As
soon as the transmitter receives the RCC signal, it sends the signal to the
monitor. The RCC symbol is displayed on the monitor, if the monitor does not
receive the RCC signal or loses the signal, the RCC symbol is not displayed.
Transmitter registration
If no outdoor weather data is displayed or the signal to the sensors is lost
during setup and installation, press and hold the RESET button on the outdoor
sensor and reinsert the base station batteries to synchronise the base station
with the sensors. No weather data is received without synchronisation. Wait
two minutes before reinserting the transmitter batteries for a proper reset.
Note
: The best reception condition is at night, between midnight and 6:00
am - with less atmospheric interference
.
