HOME THEATER
The HOME THEATER mode key allows you to bring the most commonly used
functions of your home theater components to one mode key. By doing this
you can configure the keypad to meet your specific home theater needs.
You can define by key grouping, which component should be controlled.
The steps below will guide you through programming the Home Theater
key.
Setting Up the Home Theater Key
For example, to configure the keypad like this:

Press and release the
HOME THEATER
mode key.
Press and hold MAGIC
until the display changes from
[THEATER and TIME] to [TIMED SEQ].
Press
MENU- two times
and the display will read
[CONFIGURE]. Press
ENTER
and the display will change to
[THEATR SEL]. Press
ENTER
.
The display will read [AUDIO] which refers to the volume
and mute keys. Press
ENTER
. The display will change to
[AMP], or if you have redefined the Amp key, it would
read [TV2], [SAT2] and so on.
At this screen you will press the
Device Key
you want to
be controlled by the volume keys in the Home Theater
Mode. Following the example above, you would press
TUN. Once you have made your selection, press
ENTER
.
The display will change to [CHANNEL] which refers to the
number keys and CH+/-. Press
ENTER
. The display will
change to [TV].
At this screen you will press the
Device Key
you want to
be controlled by the channels keys in the Home Theater
Mode. Following the example above, you would press SAT.
Once you have made your selection, press
ENTER
