Communications Preparations

Installing the USB Driver (V680-CHUD)

When connecting the Hand-held Reader/Writer to the host device for the first time, the USB driver must

be installed at the host device.



Downloading the USB Driver

Download the USB Driver for the V680-CHUD from the web site.

For details, ask your OMRON sales representative.



Installing the USB Driver

The V680-CHUD supports the Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows 10 operating system. Install the

driver in the host personal computer using the following procedure.

Operation on other operating systems is not supported.

Windows XP

Turn ON the power to the personal computer and start Windows XP.

Connect the Hand-held Reader/Writer to the personal computer.

Connections

p.30

Wait for the following window to be displayed.

When the following dialog box is displayed, select the

Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)

Option and click the

Next

Button.
