Create a network configuration and then register the Digital I/O Hub.

Double-click or right-click the device DTM for the Digital I/O Hub to configure, and then select
Configuration

I/O Cable Short-circuit Detection
This section describes the I/O cable short-circuit detection.
Overview and Applications
This function detects short-circuits in I/O cables for the Digital I/O Hub. When a short-circuit occurs,
the Hub turns off the power supply to the sensor and the digital output to protect the internal circuit.
