EnablePoint
Syntax
returnstate = EnablePoint(pointname)
Remarks
Argument Type Description
returnstate bool Returnstate is ‘1’ if the function is successful, or ‘0’ otherwise.
pointname point Name of point to be enabled.
Typical Example
EnablePoint(point1)
The point ‘point1’ is enabled thus allowing values to be read/written.
Force
Syntax
returnstate = Force(pointname)
Remarks
Argument Type Description
returnstate bool Returnstate is ‘1’ if the function is successful, or ‘0’ otherwise.
pointname point Name of point to have force state applied. If the point is an
array point then all elements within the array have the Force
command applied.
Typical Example
Force(point1)
The point ‘point1’ is locked in its current state. i.e. if it is currently set to 1 it cannot be changed until
the forced state is removed via the CancelForce command.
ForceReset
Syntax
returnstate = ForceReset(pointname)
