7.1. Understanding G9SP Ethernet FINS Commands
The G9SP requires a specific set of commands that differ from traditional FINS commands (see
G9SP Series Safety Controller Cat Z922 section 7-3
). The G9SP cannot be assigned a network
address in CX-Integrator. The G9SP can only use its own network. In this application, the NSJ has
DeviceNet and FINS communication hardware available. The CMND instruction will default to the
lowest network address using the unit number, the FINS Unit must be set to 0. Because of the
network number is 0, CX-Integrator is not needed for this communication.
