Using the audio player
The player accepts USB storage devices and SD cards with MP3, WMA and WAV files. It can either be
operated via the buttons on the front panel or via the remote control.
1) Insert a USB device into the USB port and/or a memory card into the card slot. Shortly press the
MODE
button to switch between the data carriers. The display indicates the source selected. After loading a
data carrier, it is selected as the playback medium and the playback will start automatically. If a data
carrier is not recognized at the first try, remove it and insert it again.
2) Use the buttons
[
VOL-
]
und
[
VOL+
] on the player (long actuation) or the buttons [
+
] and [
‒
] on the
remote control to adjust the basic volume level of the audio player. Then mix the player’s signal to the
master signal with the level control in channel 3.
Note
Channel 3 works in parallel to the built-in audio player, which means the audio player signal can be
heard at the same time as audio coming in through the channel 3 connections.
3) To interrupt the playback, press the button [►
].
4) By short actuation of the buttons [
] and [
] you can skip titles in forward or backward direction. To
select folders, the folder selection mode must be activated first with the
FOLDER
button. Use the [
CH-
]
and [
CH+
] button on the remote control to select folders. By long actuation of the [
] and [
] buttons,
fast forward and reverse is activated.
5) For direct selection of a title with the numerical keys [
0-9
] on the remote control, enter its number and
confirm with the button [
PICK SONG
].
Example: For title number 27 press keys [

] and [
PICK SONG
].
6) With the button
REPEAT
on the player or [
ENTER
] on the remote control, you can activate random play
and repeat functions.
• first actuation: continuous repeat of the selected folder (indication “

• second actuation: continuous repeat of the selected title (indication “

• third actuation: the titles are played in random order (indication “
Rand
“)
• fourth actuation: continuous repeat of all titles of the data carrier (indication “

7) Short repeated actuation of the button [

] selects an equalizer setting.
8) To remove a USB device, disconnect it from the USB port. To eject a memory card, slightly press it into
the slot until it comes out and can be removed. Prior to removing a device, always terminate the
playback with the buttons [►

]. Otherwise damage or loss of data may occur.
Notes
•
The remote control is supplied with a battery inserted. An insulating foil between the battery and the battery
contacts prevents the battery from being discharged during storage. Prior to the first operation remove the
foil from the battery support on the rear side of the remote control. Otherwise operation of the remote
control is not possible.
•
If the range of the remote control decreases, replace the battery. For this purpose,
on the rear side of the remote control press the small bar with the groove to the
right and at the same time remove the battery support. If the remote control is not
used for a longer period, please remove the batteries to prevent damage in case of
battery leakage.
