Setup
Setup
The PA system can be placed as desired or put onto a speaker stand via the stand sleeve
on the lower side. Suitable stands can be found in chapter Accessories.
Note
Always install the PA system at a solid, plane, anti-slip, vibration-free, and oscillation-free
location. Lay the connection cables in such a way that nobody will trip over the cables.
Make sure that the installation complies with the standards and rules that apply in your
country. The product must be installed securely and prevented from falling down.
Connecting cabled microphones, instruments, and audio devices
As signal source, microphones, music instruments and audio units with line level can be connected. To avoid
interfering noise, switch off the PA system or set the output controls to minimum prior to connecting and
disconnecting equipment. Be sure to use only high-grade cables.
1) Use standard XLR or 6.3 mm cables to connect dynamic microphones to the inputs of channel 1 and 2.
These inputs also accept high-impedance music instruments such as electric guitars or electric bass
guitars. Then adjust the input level with the corresponding
Hi-Z
button.
2) Connect cabled audio devices with line level to the RCA inputs or 3.5 mm jack of channel 3. Use
standard stereo RCA or jack cables to connect e.g. a CD player, keyboard or MP3 player to this input.
