(1) POWER SWITCH
Press this button to
start operation.
(2 LED INDICATORS
Zone status LEDs. The
corresponding LED
lights up as long as a
signal is present at the
input. If all six LEDs
light, every zone
receives an input
signal.
Rear panel
(1) SPEAKER CONNECTIONS
Terminals for connecting your passive speaker-systems. For a
stereo zone or a dual mono zone, connect the positive “+” and
the negative “-“ speaker output to the “+“ and „-“ input of the
MCS-1250‘s L&R terminal. In bridge mode, connect the “+”
and “-“ output of your 8 speaker to the “+“ and the “-“ input
of the terminal and make sure the Stereo/Bridge Mode switch
is set to Bridge.
(2) STEREO/BRIDGE MODE-SWITCH
For selecting the operating mode. For setting the zone to
stereo or dual mono mode, operating with 50 W per channel,
set this switch to Stereo. Set this switch to Bridge to combine
both channels to a 100 W mono amplifier.
(3) SOURCE LINK / RS-232 OUTPUT
With this multi-pin connector, up to three MCS-1250 amplifiers can be linked to expand the system to 18
zones with a maximum of six signal inputs.
(4) LINE INPUTS
Each zone can receive a separate input signal via the RCA connectors. These inputs allow for the
connection of stereo line signals or two mono signals. In bridge mode, connect the mono source to the left
(white) input.
(5) ADDRESSING
The address setting at the amplifier should correspond to the setting at the MCS-1250 Controller. If „Master“
is selected at the amplifier, set „Master“ at the controller as well, otherwise the controller will be disabled. The
address can be set with the switches „0“ and „1“. Carry out the setting before installing the MCS-1250
Controller.
