6.4 Adjusting the input level on the transmitter
Feed an input signal to the transmitter and adjust the level control INPUT LEVEL in such a way that the
transmitter is controlled to an optimum level. Via the level meter the input level is indicated separately for the
left input and the right input. When PEAK is indicated, the corresponding input channel is overloaded. In this
case, turn back the level control INPUT LEVEL or reduce the level of the signal source. In addition, it is
possible to attenuate the input signal by 12 dB: for this, set the rear sliding control PAD to the left position
-12 dB.
6.5 Monitoring the transmitter via headphones
The audio signal of the transmitter can be monitored via headphones connected to the jack PHONES. Adjust
the volume for the headphones with the control LEVEL.
6.6 Adjusting the level and balance on the receiver

Adjust the desired volume for the earphones by turning the volume control in clockwise direction.

Unfold the front cover and adjust the balance, i.e. the volume ratio between the left and right earphone,
with the buttons
P
and
S
. The selected value will be indicated on the display.
Note:
It will not be possible to adjust the balance while the setting menu is called.
6.7 Further functions in the setting menu of the transmitter
Besides the transmission channel (
s. section 6.3) further adjustments can be made via the setting menu
on the transmitter: lock mode and operating mode. The first menu item group is preset to group 1 and cannot
be changed.
6.7.1 Menu item lock mode
To prevent accidental change of adjustments in the setting menu, it is possible to activate the lock mode:

(lock mode active). With the function activated the key lock symbol is
indicated on the display.

Press the button SET 2 seconds to exit the setting menu. By short actuation of the button the following
menu item is selected. After 15 seconds the setting procedure will also be cancelled automatically.
6.7.2 Menu item operating mode stereo/mono
As a basic setting the operating mode stereo is selected, i.e. the input signals of the two channels will be
separately sent as a stereo signal. The display of the transmitter will indicate Stereo and the display of the
receiver will show ST. In this menu item you can switch to mono operation. Then only the input signal of the
right channel will be sent.
