7.4.2 Fast forward/reverse
1. With
the
buttons and
, fast forward and reverse is possible with four speeds: x 2, x 4, x 8, x 20. The
forward run goes beyond several titles (not with MP3 and WMA files). The reverse run stops when the
title beginning is reached. A forward and reverse run cannot be traced acoustically.
2. By long actuation of the buttons
and
, fast forward and reverse is activated with double speed
(indication FF or FR). With each further actuation of the buttons
and
, the speed will be increased.
To return to play, press the button
/1.
7.4.3 Scan play, repeat function, and random play
1. By pressing the button INT/F+/2, scan play is started, i.e. the first ten seconds of each title of the data
carrier are successively played (indication INT ON). To return to normal play, press the button 2
INT
once again (indication INT OFF).
2. With the button RPT/F-/3, four different repeat functions can be selected:
• first actuation of the button: continuous repeat of the selected title (indication RPT ONE)
• second actuation of the button: continuous repeat of all titles of the selected folder (for MP3 and WMA
files only) (indication RPT DIR)
• third actuation of the button: continuous repeat of all titles of the data carrier (indication RPT ALL)
• fourth actuation of the button: return to normal play (indication RPT OFF)
3. With the button RDM/4, you can activate random play. The titles are now played in random order
(indication RDM ON). To return to normal play, press the button RDM/4 once again (indication RDM
OFF).
7.5 Connecting external audio devices
1. Connect the 3.5 mm jack of a portable audio device to the AUX (auxiliary) input and switch on the
connected device.
2. Switch to AUX operation with the button MODE. Press the button so many times until AUX is indicated in
the display.
3. Start the playback on the external audio device.
4. To remove a portable audio device, unplug its jack from the AUX input. The unit remains in AUX mode.
