MAINTENANCE
DANGER:
Any operations carried out on the oil-hydraulic equipment (safety
blocks, single components, cylinders, etc.) must be carried out only
by specialised personnel with particular knowledge and experience of
oil-hydraulic plants !
Before beginning the above maintenance bring the slide and cushion
to B.D.C. (close the die and move the cushion cylinders to the lower
limit switch position) and, after stopping all the machine oil-hydraulic
pumps, turn the main switch to position “0”. In order to hinder
unauthorised manoeuvres of the main switch, close the operation
handle with a padlock.
When carrying out maintenance operations which require
disconnection of the mains supply, attach a warning sign with the
following message near the machine main switch:
MACHINE OUT OF ORDER
CLOSED TO UNAUTHORISED
PERSONNEL
In case during the maintenance works hydraulic or electric control
components would be replaced, it is necessary to perform the check
of the slide stop time according to the rule EN 693 “Machine tools –
Safety – Hydraulic Presses” and to the rule EN 999 “Machine safety –
Placing of the protection equipments according to approach speed of
the body parts”.
