device is pressed, it is possible to accelerate the fuel control lever.
(1) Safety device

Check that the fuel control lever does not move when the safety
device is not pressed.

3.
Check that the safety device returns to its original position when
you release pressure from the safety device.
• If anything is found defective during the above checks, contact
your nearest authorized repair shop for repair.
AIR FILTER
• The air filter, if clogged, will reduce
engine performance. Examine and clean
the piece of paper with puffs of air when
necessary. When the piece of paper is dirty,
replace it with a new one.
NOTE
WARNING
FUEL FILTER
• When the engine runs low on
fuel, check the fuel cap and filter
for blockage.
COLD AIR PATH
• This engine is air cooled. Dust
clogging between the cooling air in-
let port and the cylinder will cause
the engine to overheat. Periodically
check and clean the cylinder after
removing the air cleaner and cylin-
der cover.
SPARK PLUG
• Misfires and misfires are often
caused by a failed spark plug. Clean
the spark plug and check if the spark
plug gap is in the correct range. For a
replacement spark plug, use the co-
rrect type specified by YAROS (NGK
BPMR7A).
• Be aware that using a spark plug other than the designated ones
may cause the engine to misfire and malfunction or cause the engi-
ne to overheat and be damaged.
• To install the spark plug, turn the plug until finger tight, then
tighten it a quarter turn with a socket wrench.
TIGHTENING TORQUE: 14,7 - 21,5 Nm
