Adjusting Rinse Aid Dispenser

The rinse aid dispenser has six or four settings. Always start with the dispenser
set on "4". If spots and poor drying are a pro ble m, increase the amount of rinse
aid disp ensed by removing th e dispe nser lid and rotating the dial to "5". If the
dishes still are not drying properly or are show sp ots, adjust the dial to the next
higher le ver until your dishes are spot-free. The recommended setting is "4".
(Factory value is "4".)

Increase the dose if there are drops of water o r lime spots on the dishes after washing.
Reduce it if there are sticky whitish stains on your dish es or a bluish film on glassware or
knife blades.

during the next wash.

Don't forget to repla ce the cap before you close dishwasher door.

Clean up any rinse aid spilled while during filling with an absorbent cloth to avoid excessive foaming

Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remove dirt, crush dirt and transport it out of the dishwasher.
Most of the commercial quality detergents are suitable for this p urpose.

Ba sed on their chemical composition, detergents can be split in two basic types:

Th e use of

no rmal

washing programs in combination with concent rated detergents

reduces pollution a nd is good for your di shes ; these wash pro grams are specifically matched

to the dirt-diss olving prope rties of the enzymes of the concentrated detergent. For this reason

normal

wash programs i n which concentrated detergents are used can achieve the same

results that can oth erwi se only be achieved using

i ntensive

programs.

Deterg ent tablets of different brands dissolve at different speeds. For this reason some
detergent t ablets cannot dissolve an d develop their f ull cleaning power during sho rt
progra ms. Therefore please use long programs when using d etergent tablets, to
ensure the complet e removal of detergent residuals.

Th e dispenser mus t be refilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instructions
provided in the wash cycle t able . Your dishwasher uses less detergent an d rinse aid than
Conventional dishwasher. Generally, only one ta blespoon of detergent is needed for
a norm al w ash load. More h eavi ly soiled items need more deterge nt. Always add the
detergent j ust before st arting the dishwasher, otherwise it could g et damp and will not
dissolve pr operly.
