Installation
AOK 13PA has two possible inlet connections (horizontal and vertical). Based on the amount
of space under the pressure equipment choose one of the options to connect the drain.
Connection from the top (vertical inlet connection)
Connect drain on the vertical inlet connection and plug the
horizontal second connection. When used this way it is
recommended to used appropriate nipple to assure a
constant flow of a condensate to a reservoir of the drain.
Recommended use of nipple
Nipple prevents creation of air bubbles which
blocks the path for condensate to flow in the
reservoir. Air trapped in the reservoir of a
drain can pass back to a pressure equipment
through intended pipe in the nipple allowing
condensate to flow in.
