Focus lock
Use focus lock when you want to position your subject outside the autofocus frame
located in the center of the viewfinder.
*Position your subject in the autofocus
frame and press the shutter release button
half-way.
—When correct focus has been achieved, the
"AF" light will appear in the viewfinder.
*While keeping the shutter release button
pressed half-way, change the position of
your subject in the viewfinder to achieve
the desired composition.
