Battery handling precautions
Follow these important guidelines to prevent batteries from leaking, overheating, burning, exploding, or
causing electrical shocks or burns.

Never heat or incinerate batteries.
z
Never contact terminals (+) and (–) with metal.
z
Do not use solder, transform, modify or dismantle the batteries.
WARNING

Keep batteries dry at all times.
z
Do not touch the batteries with wet hands.
z
Use only batteries recommended for use with this product.
z
Never mix batteries (old and new batteries, charged and uncharged batteries, batteries of different
manufacture or capacity, etc.).
z
If a battery leaks, becomes discolored or deformed, or becomes abnormal in any other way during
operation, stop using it. It may cause a fire or an electrical shock. Please contact your local service
station or dealer.
z
Always remove batteries if they are not used for a long period.
