Shutter Speed Preferred Auto [

By selecting the shutter speed on your own, you can control the extent to
which the subject appears to be moving. The aperture is controlled
automatically.

Select a faster shutter speed to freeze
the movement of a subject.
Select a slower shutter speed to capture
the movement of a subject.
Press the exposure mode button

select “
S
” (Shutter Speed Preferred
Auto). Push the shift lever

upward to
select a faster shutter speed. Push the
lever

downward to select a slower
shutter speed.
If the aperture setting blinks in the viewfinder when the shutter
release button is pressed halfway, it means overexposure or
underexposure. Change the shutter speed until the aperture setting
stops blinking.

By selecting the aperture setting and shutter speed on your own, you can
achieve exactly the effect you want.

displayed on the LCD panel and in the
viewfinder.

Press the shutter release button halfway. If
the ± indicator does not light in the
viewfinder, change the aperture setting or
shutter speed.
