Sensitivity and Specificity Settings

Detection Types A and B

Users can choose between two different detection types, 
which differ in their sensitivity and specificity. 

Users who wish to see more polyps, even very small ones, use 
Type A. Users who want a lower sensitivity, select Type B. The 
preferred detection type can be configured in the “Detection 
type” section of the “Marker/flag” menu of the settings.

Detection Type

Description

Type A

Detects more potential colorectal polyps than 
Type B.

Type B

Tends to suppress more false detection than 
Type A.
