To install the y-axis encoder

Slide the y-axis encoder assembly in the slide bar and onto the lead screw. Expect
some resistance because the coupling between the lead screw and the encoder is
strong (see Figure 2-15 on page 36).

Tighten the lock screw.

Umbilical Sheath Strain Relief Assembly

The umbilical cable must be attached to the ChainSCANNER.

To assemble the umbilical cable sheath

Slide the annular part of the strain relief over the cable sheath, as shown in
Figure 2-16 on page 37.
