When using Windows 2000/Me
After performing Step 4 from the previous page, you can remove the card.
When disconnecting the USB cable, be sure to take the following steps.

Follow the procedures on the
previous page.

On the taskbar (bottom right
of the screen), click the
“Remove/Eject Hardware”
icon (shown in the circle).
• A message will appear
indicating that the drive will be
stopped.

Click on the message.
• A “Safe To Remove Hardware”
message indicating that it is
safe to remove the hardware
will be displayed.

Click the [OK] button.

Disconnect the USB cable
from both the computer and
the camera.
Double-clicking the “Remove/Eject Hardware” icon on the taskbar will
bring up the Remove Hardware screen. Select the camera from the list
of devices, then click the [Stop] button.
