Insert the batteries.

Close the battery compartment cover.
Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly as shown in the diagram
above.
There are diagrams inside the battery compartment and on the bottom
of the camera that indicates which way the batteries should be inserted.
AA (R6) alkaline batteries
Lithium battery packs
Hold the batteries in with the battery compartment cover while sliding.

Slide the cover inwards.
Slide the cover lock
to the

position.
Close the battery
compartment cover.
