The phone does not ring or only rings quietly�
Check whether the switch for the ringing tone volume at the side of the phone base is
set to
OFF
or
LO
. If necessary, set the switch for the ringing tone volume to
HI
.
I cannot hear a dialling tone�
Check that all the telephone cables are connected properly (refer to Section

It is possible that the batteries inserted are empty.
Insert new AAA cell batteries in the phone. Pay attention the batteries are inserted ac-
cording to the necessary polarity.
The phone display is a liquid crystal display. It reacts sensitively to extreme temperature
fluctuations. Only use the phone within the permissible ambient conditions.
