Manual Mode
Programma 101 can be operated manually as an electronic calculator. The rules given in the
preceding pages for computer instructions apply also to manual operations with the following
exceptions:
1.
The results of multiplication, division and square root will be printed automatically.
2.
The results of addition and subtraction will be printed only by touching the keys A and
in sequence.
3.
The
*
key when touched will cause both printing and clearing of the selected register
(except M and R).
The computer can also be operated manually. while it is being used in program mode. at any
stop instruction in the program. In this case, the operator should be careful when entering
figures in the registers not to affect the contents of the registers used by the program.
