1.13.2 Troubleshooting - LCD display with touch screen
Problem Solution
No power supply
•
Check that the power cord is connected correctly.
•
Check that the on/off button is working correctly.
No video signal or incorrect colors on
screen
•
Check that the cable of the LCD is connected correctly or replace
the LCD.
•
Check that the board Inverter is connected correctly or replace the
Inverter board.
•
Check the setting of the LCD jumper
The touch screen does not work
•
Check that the touch screen is connected correctly.
•
Check correct installation of the driver.
•
Check correct setting of the COM port.
•
Replace the touch screen.
Touch screen imprecise
•
Calibrate the touch screen.
Badge reader
•
Check that the reader is connected correctly or replace the reader.
•
For serial type readers, check correct installation of the driver and
the setting of the COM port.
For “keyboard” type readers, check that the reader is connected to
the KB connector (IN).
•
Check the board of the badge reader.
USB
•
Check that USB port is working by connecting and disconnecting
other USB devices in the same port. If any USB device doe snot
work, there may be a problem of compatibility.
Screen
•
Adjust the screen using the specific controls.
