4.19.1 SERIAL INTERFACE CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING

CORRECTIVE ACTION
The scanner does
Check the voltage (DC +5.0V) at point (1) of the previous figure:

If this voltage is output correctly, replace the mainboard or the
harness assy.

If this voltage is not output correctly, replace the mainboard.

4.20 DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE
4.20.1 DIAGNOSTIC CHECK & FINISHED GOODS CHECK
The diagnostic software checks whether the machine works properly or not. This software is already
built into the machine and is always ready to boot by following the related instructions. It is also useful
to run the diagnostics software after the machine has been repaired.
Note:
Once you activate the diagnostic software, you should run all the checkup items. Make sure you complete
diagnostic software execution that it results with OK indicating that no error has been found.
4.20.2 SOFTWARE VERSION
The diagnostic software also prints its related version at the beginning of the test report.

The latest versions for the ECR6800/ECR6900/ECR6920F are indicated below.
