2nd image transfer
• A DC positive voltage is applied to the backside of the paper, thereby
allowing the visible, developed image on the surface of the transfer
belt to be transferred onto the paper.

Paper separation
• The paper, which has undergone the 2nd image transfer process, is
neutralized so that it can be properly separated from the transfer belt
by the paper separator claws.

Transfer belt cleaning
• Residual toner on the surface of the transfer belt is collected for
cleaning by cleaning brush.

PC drum cleaning
• The residual toner left on the surface of the PC drum is scraped off.

Main erase
• The surface of the PC drum is irradiated with light, which neutralizes
any surface potential remaining on the surface of the PC drum.
