SENSOR MECHANISM
(See Fig. 2-6)
The sensor mechanism consists of the sensor as-
sembly and the sensor gear. The sensor employs a
mechanical contact-point system and generates a
timing signal T and a sub-timing signal t in corre-
spondence to each character position on the print
wheel.
The sensor also generates a reset signal at each
rotation of the print wheel. Waveform rectification of
these signals should be performed by the user, as
timing or reset pulses.
